Leaker @billbil_kun claims to have obtained European pricing, availability and configurations for the Xiaomi 13 Lite, the cheapest global member of the Xiaomi 13 series. While Xiaomi has not confirmed plans to release the Xiaomi 13 Lite, the Google Play Console confirmed last month that the device would be a re-branded CIVI 2. The CIVI brand has no name recognition outside China, which may explain the CIVI 2's international arrival under a different moniker.
Regardless, @billbil_kun reports that the Xiaomi 13 Lite will launch alongside the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. As it stands, Xiaomi is expected to bring the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro to global audiences later this month during MWC 2023 in Barcelona. However, pre-orders will not start shipping until March 8. The same leaker has not revealed whether a short pre-order period will also apply to the Xiaomi 13 Lite. Potentially, Xiaomi will bring the handset to market quicker without any pre-order bonuses to speak of.
The leaker asserts that Xiaomi will sell the Xiaomi 13 Lite for €549 with 256 GB of storage. Typically, Xiaomi's mid-range smartphones start with 128 GB variants, so we would not be surprised if that were the case with the Xiaomi 13 Lite. In other words, €549 could be the most expensive version of the Xiaomi 13 Lite, not the cheapest. @billbil_kun implies that the handset will be available in two colours too, mirroring the Xiaomi 13 Pro.
