Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Lite pricing info leaks online ahead of global launch
The Xiaomi 13 series will make its debut later in the month at MWC. Both the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro launched in China back in December, and so will make the trip over the global market in already known packages. That holds true for the Xiaomi 13 Lite, too, with that phone being a rebadged Xiaomi Civi 2. Pricing details for all three phones have now also leaked ahead of their February 26 debut.
The Xiaomi 13 series, it appears, will go on sale globally with massive price tags. The vanilla Xiaomi 13 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is slated to cost a whopping €999 in Europe. For some perspective, a similarly equipped Galaxy S23 costs €1,009. The Xiaomi 13 Pro will cost even more, with word on the grapevine claiming the 12/256 GB SKU will set buyers back €1,299. The 256 GB Samsung Galaxy S23+ costs €1,199, for example. As for the Xiaomi 13 Lite, that phone is touted to cost €499 for the 8/128 GB SKU, with the bump up to 256 GB of storage costing an extra €549.
If these prices are anything to go by, Xiaomi may be set to launch the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro in Europe with price tags on par with the newest Apple and Samsung flagships. That may be considered overly ambitious by the company, especially considering a close rival—OnePlus—just debuted its latest flagship, the OnePlus 11, in Europe with an €849 MSRP. That said, though, leaked pricing information for Xiaomi devices tends to be inflated, and it's likely the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro actually arrive with more palatable price tags.
