Xiaomi 13 Ultra concept renders showcase future Leica flagship
It is no secret that Xiaomi plans to release a new Ultra smartphone globally. For instance, the company's CEO announced as much last year, and there have been numerous hints since that the device remains in development. For now, Xiaomi is only ready to bring the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro to market, with the Xiaomi 13 Lite also soon making its way outside China as a re-branded CIVI 2.
In the meantime, Kartikey Singh has partnered with artist @SPInfoJP to deliver Xiaomi 13 Ultra renders. Supposedly, the pair have based the designs on recent leaks rather than leaked CADs as @OnLeaks often does. The pair have also imagined the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in four colours. While black and white models are likely, it remains to be seen whether Xiaomi intends to bring red or green vegan leather models to market.
Regardless, the concept renders provide a closer look at what could be Xiaomi's next-generation flagship smartphone, arguably more so than an alleged hands-on image. For now, the consensus is that Xiaomi will equip its next Ultra smartphone with four rear-facing cameras with twin 1-inch sensors. Reputedly, the authenticity of these renders 'is close to 90%', which remains to be seen for now. Xiaomi is expected to release the Xiaomi 13 Ultra this summer globally. However, we would not be surprised if the handset debuted in China a month or two earlier.
