iQOO's initial announcement that it would release the Neo7 in India may have raised hopes that the brand would not do what it had done with the "Neo6 Global Edition" in 2022. However, while the new device is now hailed as the country's "first 4nm" smartphone, the processor in question is the Dimensity 8200 and not the 9000+.
In fact, the Neo7's Global Edition is in fact the global re-brand of China's 7 SE, rather than the full-fat flagship variant that remains exclusive to the same market. Nevertheless, it has a reasonably high-quality 120Hz screen and a 64MP main rear camera with OIS, and runs Android 13 with a Funtouch OS 13 skin.
The Neo7's Indian version has also managed to bring the full-speed 120W Flash Charge tech from the SE with it. It starts with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage for INR 29,999 (~US$363) in Frost Blue or Interstellar Black via retail channels such as Amazon from now.
