iQOO's latest flagship Android smartphone has officially beaten potential rivals the Xiaomi 13, Vivo X90 Pro+ and its own namesake the OnePlus 11 to a debut in India today (January 10, 2023).
This 'Global Edition' may have yet again failed to bring its brand's top-end 200W charging to this market. Nevertheless, iQOO asserts that it can still be "Game Ready" with 120W Flash Charging that might fill the smartphone's 5,000mAh battery by 50% in as little as 8 minutes.
A flat 2K E6 AMOLED display that packs a front-running 144Hz refresh rate with 1,440Hz PWM dimming is touted to allow iQOO 11 users to game or binge content at length in comfort and at speed. On that note, the flagship is also backed to debut the "Monster Trio" of main internals.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is of course promoted as the greatest mobile processing upgrade yet, with 20% greater "peak GPU performance", while its UFS 4.0 and LPDDR5X companions are rated for boosted sequential write and read speeds respectively with improved energy efficiency.
The 11 also offers a typically premium 50MP main camera, enhanced by the latest V2 co-processor from iQOO's parent Vivo, and is also India's first device to boot Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
The 11 is available in 8GB or 16GB RAM forms to its latest market, either of which has 256GB of its new flash storage. They start at INR 59,999 (~US$734) on iqoo.com/in from now - however, its imminent debut on Amazon.in comes with the proposition of additional discounts.
However, there is a catch in the form of a raft of eligibility requirements for the same, one of which is the Prime membership necessary to access iQOO's 24-hour early access event from January 13, 2023.
