Vivo X90 series officially backed to surprise smartphone fans beyond imagination in late November 2022
Vivo has now endorsed a slew of leaks pointing to the imminent launch of new X90-series of mobile devices, which, as the OEM now officially hints, may be at least as premium as their X80 predecessors, complete with an updated and even more elaborate, camera-hump-centric design for their rear panels.
The devices projected to launch with this upgraded design are thought to consist of a resurrected Pro Plus model (or Pro+) in addition to a Pro and an entry-level X90. According to new Ishan Agarwal tips published by PriceBaba, their freshly-confirmed red leather finish will not, as you might assume, be exclusive to the new top-end model.x
Conversely, the X Note-like blue colorway also just revealed by Vivo is reportedly only to be available in the vanilla X90. The Pro and Pro Plus, on the other hand, may share the red and black alternatives with the base model.
Similarly, the X90 is now tipped to have both 8 and 12GB RAM SKUs, paired to 128-256GB and 256-512GB of internal storage respectively. The Pro might have the same, except for the 8/128GB SKU, whereas the Pro+ will have the 12GB RAM configurations only.
Finally, the top-end model's QHD+ E6 AMOLED display is now tipped to reach 6.78 inches in diagonal length and have a refresh rate of up 144Hz. Going by the X-series' record as of late, the other variants might have screens of similar size; however, the resolution in question is now expected to drop to 1.5K in the case of the X90.
Despite all this new detail, Vivo may prefer to hold out until its November 22, 2022 event to reveal how much any SKU of the "surprising beyond imagining" X90 series might cost.
