Vivo X80 specifications leak with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000, a 120 Hz AMOLED display and high megapixel cameras
Ishan Agarwal has shared specifications for the Vivo X80, days after the leaker detailed the X80 Pro. While the pair will lookalike, the X80 will not feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. Instead, Agarwal alleges that Vivo will equip the standard X80 with a Dimensity 9000, to which the Google Play Console already alluded.
Additionally, while the Google Play Console reported the X80 as having 8 GB of RAM, Agarwal reports that 12 GB configurations will be available. Supposedly, Vivo has complemented the LPDDR5 RAM with UFS 3.1 flash storage, which will come in 256 GB and 512 GB flavours. Also, Agarwal expects Vivo to offer the X80 with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, mirroring the X80 Pro. However, the 120 Hz panel will peak at 1080p, not 1440p like the X80 Pro.
Separately, the X80 is believed to include a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 80 W charging, an optical in-screen fingerprint scanner and four cameras. Purportedly, the device will house a 32 MP front-facing sensor, a 50 MP primary sensor and dual 12 MP portrait and ultra-wide-angle lenses. The X80 is expected to arrive on April 25 in China and will tip the scales at 205 g.
