91mobiles and Ishan Agarwal have shared specifications of the X80 Pro, one of three flagship smartphones that Vivo has planned. As previous leaks have shown, the X80 series will resemble the X Note that launched earlier this month in China. However, the X80 Pro will be a touch smaller than the X Note, which has a 7-inch display.
In comparison, the X80 Pro will arrive with a 6.78-inch panel that matches the X Note in other areas. Specifically, the AMOLED display will operate natively at 1440p (2K) with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the X80 Pro is expected to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, curved display edges and a centred punch hole for a single front-facing camera that outputs at 32 MP.
Elsewhere, Vivo will equip the X80 Pro with a 50 MP primary camera that has a 1/1.31-inch optical format and an f/1.57 aperture, rumoured to be an updated ISOCELL GN1. Moreover, 91mobiles and Ishan Agarwal assert that the X80 has a 48 MP ultra-wide-angle camera (Sony IMX598), a 12 MP portrait telephoto lens and an 8 MP periscope camera that delivers 5x optical zoom.
Unsurprisingly, the X80 Pro is tipped to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. Also, a 4,700 mAh battery will power the handset, which it will be able to recharge at 50 W wirelessly or 80 W via a wired connection. The Vivo X80 should launch alongside other X80 series smartphones on April 25 in China.
