Vivo X80: Design and specifications emerge in Google Play Console listing
Vivo may have just released the X Fold and X Note, but the company is already lining up another flagship handset. As the image below shows, Vivo has submitted the X80 to the Google Play Console, one of three X80 series handsets that the company is expected to announce soon. For reference, the X80 series is also thought to include the X80 Pro and the X80 Pro Plus, referred to as the X80 Pro+ too.
According to the Google Play Console, the X80 has a 2,400 x 1,080-pixel display with a 440 DPI. Based on previous rumours, the X80's display should also measure 6.7-inches across and will offer a 120 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the Google Play Console listing reports that the X80 has a MediaTek MT6983, the model number for the Dimensity 9000. Unsurprisingly, the X80 has 8 GB of RAM as well, plus Android 12.
Incidentally, the Play Console listing appears to confirm the X80's design. Seemingly, the X80 has a curved display and minimal bezels. In comparison, the X70 has a flat display, making the X80 closer in design to the X70 Pro than its direct predecessor. While MySmartPrice asserts that the X80 series could arrive 'in the coming days', Vivo has not started teasing any X80 handsets yet, nor a launch event on its social media channels.
