Last week, 91mobiles and Yogesh Brar revealed renders of the OnePlus 10R, confirming that it will be a Realme GT Neo3 under a different name. Now, the latter has showcased the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, which bears a striking resemblance to other smartphones produced by BBK Electronics' stable of smartphone manufacturers.
According to Brar, the Nord CE 2 Lite will rely on the Snapdragon 695 and a 6.58-inch IPS display. Reportedly, the panel has an FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, mirroring the OnePlus 10R. Additionally, the Nord CE 2 Lite has a 5,000 mAh battery, supports 33 W fast charging and comes with four cameras. Supposedly, the handset will have a 64 MP primary camera complemented by dual 2 MP mono and macro sensors, plus a 16 MP front-facing camera.
If any of those specifications sound familiar, it may be because they are a combination of the Realme 9 Pro, Realme V25 and the vivo iQOO Z6. Accordingly, the Nord CE 2 Lite will be available in 6 GB of RAM and 8 GB of RAM configurations coupled with 128 GB of storage. Also, since the Nord CE 2 Lite is not an original OnePlus smartphone, it has no alert slider.
The Nord CE 2 Lite has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner like the Realme 9 Pro, Realme V25 and the vivo iQOO Z6 too. For some reason, the Nord CE 2 Lite will launch with OxygenOS 11 though, which OnePlus bases on Android 11. By contrast, Realme and vivo iQOO have pre-loaded Android 12 on their equivalent smartphones. Currently, it is unclear when OnePlus will announce the Nord 2 CE Lite or in what markets.
