Realme decided to give its entry-level 9-series variant a dash of vibrant yellow along with more predictable Stargaze White and Meteor Black SKUs. However, its rumored replacement exhibits nothing of the sort in the first full-color renders linked to the reportedly upcoming budget Android smartphone.
According to the typically reliable OnLeaks, Realme may have decided to cut the 10 4G down to just 2 colorways, referred to as "Pink" and "Gray" in a new 91Mobiles post. Although the former does retain some gold-ish overtones, the device does seem to have left the 9 series' eye-catching design ethic behind.
Then again, the new renders do echo its successors' leaked switch to an updated double-barrel rear camera hump, leaving the "10 4G" looking like an Asus ZenFone 9 with gradient effects. OnLeaks and 91Mobiles also now assert that the same smartphone will come with 33W charging for its 5,000mAh battery.
The "4G" is also said to be destined for a 50MP rear camera; however, that spec may not be constant across the rest of its 10-series line-up. TENAA's newly updated listings for the 5G and Pro+ variants show that they have 108MP shooters, accompanied by a potentially paltry 2MP secondary lens and 8+2MP backup cameras respectively.
By constrast, it was the 9 4G that debuted with the larger sensor so as to stand out in the low-end crowd in 2022, while its 5G and Pro+ counterparts have more on-trend 50MP main cameras. Then again, their purported successors are now projected to launch with the same display specs.
That leaves the 10 5G to make do with the only LCD screen of the bunch in 2023, whereas the 10 4G and Pro+ may get to enjoy FHD+ OLED panels of 6.4 and 6.7 inches in size respectively.
