Realme usually makes the launch of its "number series" smartphones a yearly event; however, according to its brand's new teasers, it has decided to align them more with the OPPO Reno series with a change in this frequency. Accordingly, while the 9 series started to emerge in early 2022, its next generation might debut in November of the same year.
Realme International Business Group president Madhav Sheth has backed an initial teaser tweet up with one including an overt 10-series hashtag. The post also hypes the devices' "3 major leap-forward technologies", which apparently relate to their "Performance, Design & Display".
Given that Sheth has presented a new graphic showing a stylized SoC along with these claims, it is possible that the first of those may be delivered by new silicon...such as the Dimensity 1080 linked to the 10 Pro+, perhaps.
The second "leap" is easy enough to figure out: the Realme 10 series is, as established in prior leaks, in line for an updated rear panel, which, according to another new poster, stands to add flat edges to their new look.
The move forward in terms of "Display" is slightly harder to guess at, as the devices thought to launch as successors to the Realme 9 4G, 5G and Pro+ have been spotted or spoken of with the exact same screens generation-on-generation.
Then again, the latter is also depicted as having a curved display, which is a departure from its forebear, even the Free Fire Special Edition.
Therefore, this is what Realme might mean by such a move in terms of 10-series displays. We may find out for sure, as the smartphones are now slated to launch as early as November 2022.
