Realme has presented the Watch 3 Pro, a smartwatch that the company has been teasing for a while on social media. Built with flat edges and a single button, the Realme Watch 3 Pro also has a 1.78-inch AMOLED display that offers 500 nits of peak brightness, a 60 Hz refresh rate and a 448 x 368-pixel native resolution. Unfortunately, Realme has decided to include a display that has a 68.7% screen-to-body ratio, underlining its credential as a budget smartwatch.
Additionally, Realme pre-installs over 100 watch faces, plus at least 110 sports modes that rely on the smartwatch's various sensors. Specifically, the Realme Watch 3 Pro can monitor heart rate and blood oxygen levels, as well as tracking sleep and menstrual cycles. Incidentally, Realme includes a GPS module for collecting location data when exercising, which is not always a given on cheaper smartwatches.
The Realme Watch 3 Pro is available in India for INR 4,999 (~US$63), slightly cheaper than leaked pricing suggested. However, Realme will initially sell the smartwatch for INR 4,499 (~US$56) in both its black and grey colour options. Currently, Realme has not confirmed whether it intends to sell the Watch 3 Pro outside India. For context, the company released the Watch 2 in Europe, so there is a chance that the Watch 3 Pro will reach Europe too.
