Realme tipped to launch new smartwatch alongside 13 Pro series

The Realme Watch S series is back in 2024, having been absent for nearly 4 years to date. According to the prolific leaker Ishan Agarwal, its second iteration will look much like its predecessor, although it may aspire to at least look more premium with a new band made of metallic links.

That cosmetic upgrade might go well with the 13 Pro series, as the Realme Watch S2 is now said to join the 13 Pro smartphones on stage on July 20, 2024. Then again, its features as leaked to date are nothing that have not been seen before.

They include Bluetooth calling, as well as the ability to stream audio from a paired device via the same wireless connectivity.

The "Realme Watch S2" box now pictured on Twitter/X also asserts that it will be capable of "comprehensive sports & health monitoring"...although, again, there is nothing very unusual about that on any tier of the smartwatch market at this stage.
