Realme Watch S2 confirmed to launch as part of July 2024 product event
The Watch S series introduced Realme's very first round-faced smartwatch, yet has not seen an update since 2020. Now, however, the brand has started to tease its 2nd generation out of (nearly) nowhere.
A very close-up look at the S2 reveals that it will have a numerical chronograph so far (a feature that, while on trend, is also copied directly from its predecessor), although it is impossible to tell whether it will move on from the 1.3-inch display size at the time of writing.
The Realme Watch S2 is also touted to be the latest way to "Wear Your AI" from its release. It is also said to support Bluetooth audio and calling and to be an all-round health and fitness monitor. It is more certain that the wearable already has a product page ahead of its July 30, 2024 debut on realme.in, however.
The website does not yield much information on the new wearable and sports a placeholder price of INR 9,999 - which, ironically, is not that far off the original Realme Watch S launch price. Then again, its only version left on Amazon.in, a Master Edition with a carbon fiber-pattern band, is now just INR 2,898 (~$34).
