Google Pixel Watch 3 specs leak with brighter and more modern-looking display detailed
Google is not expected to deliver a Pixel Watch 2 (curr. $349.99 on Amazon) successor until next month, having confirmed that it will present new products on August 13. In the meantime, alleged Pixel Watch 3 models were spotted on the Federal Communication Commission's (FCC) database in the US, full details of which we have covered separately.
Although the FCC has not revealed too many details about Google's next smartwatches, OnLeaks has already shared images based on allegedly leaked computer-aided designs (CADs), an example of which we have embedded above. Also, Android Authority claims to have obtained numerous specifications of both sizes, which are anticipated to arrive in 41 mm and 45 mm case sizes. Purportedly, all the website's information was obtained from Google's source code rather than from a third-party source.
Specifically, both sizes are said to have feature displays that peak at 2,000 nits, twice the peak brightness of the current Pixel Watch 2. Additionally, the pair will have thinner display bezels than last year's model by dropping from 5.5 mm to 4.5 mm in diameter. Conversely, the 41 mm edition will retain a 310 mAh battery, with its 45 mm sibling afforded a 420 mAh battery instead. The Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 platform will return. Consequently, although Google will visually distinguish the Pixel Watch 3 from its predecessor, the 41 mm variant will likely return similar battery runtimes.
