The Apple Watch will be 10 years old in 2024, and as such is thought to drop the usual 'Series' branding in order to launch as the line's first X variant instead this year. However, that change might not prove as momentous as it did for the iPhone in 2017, according to Bloomberg contributor Mark Gurman.
The next generation of iPhones, iPads, Macs and even Vision Pros are expected to be unleashed as Apple Intelligence devices out of the box, whereas the upcoming "Watch X" is not, even though it might have the same new chipset as the Ultra 3.
The wearable is thought to come with the option of having an Ultra-sized screen, at least, on which the user may or may not be able to visualize their blood pressure for the first time. Then again, the feature might be incapable of anything like always-on monitoring, which, as Gurman suggests, might be due to unexpected reliability issues in its first generation.
