Almost five months have passed since Xiaomi released the Watch H1, its alternative to Huawei's Watch D. Incidentally, Huawei presented the Watch D in Europe about a fortnight before Xiaomi introduced the Watch H1 in China. However, there has been no ensuing global launch for the Watch H1 outside Xiaomi's home market.
Nonetheless, the Watch H1 can be obtained globally through third-party retailers. For example, the Watch H1 is listed on AliExpress for $298.34, allegedly down from a $556.99 MSRP. By contrast, the smartwatch sells for a minimum of $382 on eBay. However, it is worth noting that all eBay sellers ship from China or Hong Kong. Thus, it could take a while before the device reaches other regions like Africa, Europe or the Americas. Alternatively, another retailer called A1Smartshop has priced the Watch H1 at £275.99 (~$349) including VAT.
For context, the Watch H1 is Food and Drug Administration (FDA) certified as a Class III medical device for electrocardiogram (ECG) and blood pressure level monitoring. Additionally, the smartwatch has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display that outputs at 466 x 466 pixels and a 500 mAh battery, among other features. For reference, the Xiaomi Watch H1 can be paired with devices running Android 6.0 or iOS 12.0 and newer.
