Polar Grit X2 Pro new rugged smartwatch launches

The Grit X2 Pro's features include a flashlight display mode, a ring antenna to boost GPS signal and pre-installed topographic maps. The smartwatch offers route guidance, a Breadcrumbs tool and the ability to save offline maps with 32 GB storage. Plus, you can connect to third-party apps like komoot and Strava. Sensors at the rear of the smartwatch can be used to track health metrics like heart rate, SpO2 and skin temperature when sleeping. Plus, you can use the ‘unlock’ button to take an ECG reading. For outdoor sports, you can track statistics such as vertical speed, running power and VAM. According to Polar, the watch can run for up to 10 days in smartwatch mode with typical use or 43 hours in performance training mode.

The wearable weighs 79g (~2.8 oz) and is available in three colorways, with the standard Night Black and Stone Gray options, or the more expensive Titan edition. The Titan watch has a titanium rather than steel casing at the front and adds a second brown leather watch strap as an alternative to the black silicone band. You can now pre-order the standard version of the Polar Grit X2 Pro Premium Outdoor Smartwatch for $749.95/£649.00/€749.90, while the Titan edition costs $869.95/£749.00/€869.90. Deliveries are due to begin on April 3rd.
