Impressive concept images are said to reveal the brand new design of the next-generation Apple Watch, which leaves no piece of aluminum unturned with a thinner case, significantly slimmer screen edges and a magnetic wristband system.

Over the past few months, there have been a number of rumors about the next-generation Apple Watch, which is set to receive numerous upgrades ranging from a fresh design, a new wristband system to new health features. AppleTrack has now published the first concept images via ConceptCreator, which visualize the new design based on these rumors.

Although the AppleTrack video only makes this clear in passing, these are not render images based on leaked CAD files, as is often the case with smartphones, but a creation based on rumors, so the final design will definitely differ from these images. However, the images show what the smartwatch may look like if all the rumors turn out to be true.

The concept images visualize a smartwatch that is around 15% thinner than the Apple Watch Series 9 and has much narrower screen edges. The wristband system is said to have been completely revised - instead of anchoring the wristbands in the case as before, they will be attached to a bulge in the case via magnets, which will give Apple some space inside, although existing wristbands will likely no longer be compatible with the new Apple Watch.

Aside from the design innovations, Apple is expected to introduce advanced health features, including a fairly rudimentary blood pressure measurement that will warn users of high blood pressure, while the watch will also be able to detect sleep apnea for the first time, a common sleep disorder that users usually do not notice themselves, but can still affect the quality of sleep. The Apple Watch X is expected to be officially unveiled in September alongside the iPhone 16.
