After Huawei launched the new fitness tracker Huawei Band 9 (from 59 euros at Huawei) in Europe yesterday, the manufacturer's next wearable seems to be waiting in the wings. Initial rumors regarding the Huawei Watch Fit 3 have been solidified with a recent leak.
The expected launch together with the P70 series, which was launched this week as the Pura 70 with four different models, including the flagship model Huawei Pura 70 Ultra, has failed to materialize. Instead, Roland Quandt at X (formerly Twitter) provides a look at the supposed design of the upcoming successor to the Huawei Watch Fit 2 (from 99 euros at Huawei).
Huawei appears to have been inspired by the Apple Watch. The leaked render images show the successor with a much square display with more rounded corners than before. In addition, there is no longer just a control button on the right-hand side, which has now moved from the center to the bottom, but also a rotating crown above it.
The smartwatch is leaked in four different colors with cases in silver, gold, black, and pink, all with matching silicone or leather straps. It is unclear whether there will also be models with a metal strap, as is the case with the current generation.
Information on the technical features of the new Huawei Watch Fit 3 is not yet available. However, it can be assumed that it will have at least the same features as its predecessor. There is also no concrete information on a launch date yet, but this is likely to follow soon.
