Waterproof Kallme Hero 4 smartwatch in gold design with AMOLED and gesture control at a discount
Kallme has launched a new smartwatch onto the market, the Hero 4. Visually, it is very reminiscent of the Huawei Watch Ultimate, which is also available in a gold-colored variant. The new Chinese model is significantly cheaper, but does without real gold, among other things
Instead, it comes in a black housing with gold-colored accents such as on the bezel, the strap and the three buttons. According to Kallme, the smartwatch has a zinc-aluminum alloy frame, is waterproof thanks to IP68 and thus suitable for swimming, for example.
The 1.52-inch display of the Kallme Hero 4 is an AMOLED panel, has a resolution of 454 x 454 and can be customized with different watch faces. In addition to the touchscreen and three buttons, the wearable can also be controlled using gestures, e.g., to answer phone calls. According to the manufacturer, Bluetooth telephony is is accompanied by music control, weather, AI voice assistant and over 100 sports modes.
Kallme also advertises extensive health features. On top of the usual functions of heart rate, SpO2 measurement and sleep tracking, it also claims to measure blood pressure. However, users should not intepret the results as accurate under any circumstances, as it is explicitly not a medical device. Indeed, a recent review revealed that such claims tend to be unreliable or false. The manufacturer states that the 380 mAh battery lasts up to seven days under typical use
The Kallme Hero 4 can be ordered directly from the manufacturer for a launch price of $39.99. Buyers can save a further $5 with the voucher code "kallmehero5"
