Garmin has shipped a new stable update for one of its most recent smartwatch series. Rolling out now to the Venu 3 and Venu 3S, the update was previously available to beta testers with alleged improvements to Garmin's Connect IQ service.

Garmin has now delivered a new stable update for the Venu 3, as well as to the smaller Venu 3S (curr. $449.99 on Amazon). For context, the company pushed Software Version 9.24 to the pair at the start of last month. While it subsequently released Beta 10.08, it swiftly replaced this build with Beta 9.27.

Now, it has decided to issue the latter as the Venu 3 series' latest stable build, rather than v10.08. As a result, Software Version 9.27 makes minimal changes from Software Version 9.24, despite the time gap that exists between the pair. Specifically, Garmin only describes having introduced new Connect IQ bug fixes and improvements, albeit without going into further details.

Please note that Software Version 9.27 may have not reached all Venu 3 series smartwatches automatically yet. If that is the case, then it should be possible to trigger its download manually or using the Garmin Express and Garmin Connect Mobile (GCM) services. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when the company will move its stable software development branch onto 10.xx builds, which should bring multiple new features to the Venu 3 and Venu 3S based on Beta 10.08.
