Deal | Creative Aurvana Ace 2 TWS earbuds with xMEMS drivers now 13% off on Amazon
Launched alongside the Aurvana Ace, the Creative Aurvana Ace 2 TWS earbuds bring together 10 mm dynamic drivers and xMEMS solid-state speakers for an impressive frequency response that covers a range between 5 Hz and 40 kHz. Available on Amazon since January 12, 2024, these earbuds have been listed for $149.99 ever since. Thankfully, the price of the Creative Aurvana Ace 2 recently dropped to $129.99 thanks to a 13% discount.
In addition to the hardware specs mentioned above, the Creative Aurvana Ace 2 earbuds also come with a total of six microphones for improved calls in noisy environments. The list of audio codecs supported includes aptX Losless, aptX Adaptive, Bluetooth 5.3 LE, as well as SBC's successor, namely LC3. In terms of design, the Creative Aurvana Ace 2 earbuds offer a translucent black charging case with a copper core. Without adaptive ANC enabled, autonomy can reach 6 hours on a charge and 24 hours in total. Wireless and USB-C charging are both supported, with Qi compatibility also in the cards.
With over 200 units sold in the last month, it is surprising that only 16 user reviews have been validated so far. Many of the negative ones complain about the lack of sound quality out of the box, since these earbuds need to be properly setup with the help of a dedicated app, which is available for both iOS and Android. Based on my previous experience with Creative products, even if the initial experience with the software turns out to be a headache, the final result will probably be worth it.
