Ulefone Armor Pad 3 Pro: Rugged tablet launching soon with a huge battery and additional features
Ulefone is planning to launch a new tablet onto the market soon, namely the Ulefone Armor Pad 3 Pro. No information about the tablet has been made public, but the company has apparently shared exclusive information with GSMArena. According to the latter, the tablet will be characterized more by its huge battery and additional features and less by its computing power.
The battery has a capacity of 33,280 mAh, which is an extremely large capacity, even for rugged tablets. Charging up to 66 watts is said to be possible, which is still quite fast. A very useful aspect is that the model supports reverse charging, meaning it can also be used as a power bank and to charge other devices. Smartphones, for example, can then be recharged several times via the Ulefone Armor Pad 3 Pro.
The Armor Pad 2 also has illumination, but the Armor Pad 3 Pro has two LEDs with a luminosity of 1100 lumens, which means that larger areas can be illuminated in more than just a few spots. As is usual for rugged devices, there is an additional and user-definable button.
The 1.2 kg tablet is equipped with a MediaTek MT8788, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card. The main camera has a resolution of 50 MP. Dual SIM operation is supported, as is NFC. The IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certifications attest to the tablet's robustness. An HDMI port is available and a uSmart connector is integrated.
The release is scheduled for May 13 for a price of around $300, initially only via AliExpress and thus via direct import.
