New Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration edition smartwatch could arrive in Europe
The Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration edition smartwatch is expected to land in Europe. The wearable was launched in China in April as an upgraded version of the standard Watch 4 Pro. Now, X user @MysteryLupin suggests the watch will launch outside China.
In the X post (below), the leaker claimed that the Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration edition would go on sale in European countries. However, they did not suggest when this might happen or clarify where this information came from. Also shared were four images of the wearable; these appear to match up to pictures seen for the wearable in China. The Space Exploration model features a red and gray design with a ceramic bezel and a pattern on the crown linked to a rocket’s engine. The watch has a 1.5-inch AMOLED LTPO screen and lasts for four to five days with typical use.
Improved features compared to the original watch include Health Glance 2.0, which adds three metrics to the existing 10: sleep apnea detection, arrhythmia analysis, and hyperglycemia risk assessment. Plus, an Ultra Wide Band (UWB) car key option has been added. As Huawei has not officially announced the European launch of the Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration edition, it remains to be seen when the watch will go on sale and at what price. As a guide, the special edition watch is priced at 4,999 yuan (~€645), 1,000 yuan (~€130) more expensive than the standard titanium strap model; in Europe, this has an RRP of €549.
