Realme TechLife Watch R100 presented with IP68 water resistance for a budget price tag
Realme has lifted the lid on the TechLife Watch R100, another budget smartwatch by the company. Like many cheaper smartwatches, the TechLife Watch R100 comes with over 100 pre-installed watch faces and relies on a proprietary OS. Likewise, Realme includes over 100 sports modes, including those covering cricket, football and outdoor running, among others. Realme has not equipped the TechLife Watch R100 with a GPS module, though.
Still, the smartwatch supports Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and comes with both optical heart rate and SpO2 sensors. Also, Realme has included a 380 mAh battery that it claims will last up to 7 days on a single charge. For reference, the smartwatch will take up to 2 hours to recharge fully via a proprietary charging cable. Additionally, the 54.1 x 46 x 12.2 mm smartwatch weighs 46 g with a 22 mm-wide strap. Also, Realme claims that it offers IP68 water resistance, a feature missing from most budget smartwatches.
Elsewhere, the Android and iOS-compatible smartwatch has a 1.32-inch TFT LCD panel that outputs at 360 x 360 pixels. At launch, Realme will offer the TechLife Watch R100 in two colours, shown above. Both colours have aluminium alloy casings and ship with silicone watch straps. While Realme has announced the smartwatch today, it will not become orderable until June 28, after which it will be available for INR 3,499 (~US$44).
