Garmin has issued an update for its Forerunner 945 LTE smartwatch. Software version 6.04 Beta has added several features to the device, including the new Real Time Stamina tool, which helps you smartly manage your pace when running or cycling.
A Sleep Insights feature has also been added to the watch, enabling you to track your sleep quality and duration. Another tool the update provides is Run/Walk Detection, which will automatically start your run or walk timer when it detects the motion. Other features added to the Forerunner 945 LTE include Cross Country Ski power zone editing support, coordinates on the navigation menu and ‘Idle Time:’ in the activity summary.
There are tool improvements with version 6.04, such as updated Heartrate & Power settings, enhanced playback reliability and better Daily Suggested Workout phrases. Notable problems fixed with the software include a crash when deleting a PacePro plan, missing data on the UpAhead screen or upon changing page layout.
