Realme's first-gen monitor is slated to launch in July 2022
Realme's TechLife division is now teasing what it calls the OEM's "1st 5G-led AIoT Launch" on Twitter. It points to links that lead to a Flipkart page, thereby indicating that the event is directed at the Indian market. The vendor reveals that it will introduce the Pad X 5G and Watch 3, as indicated earlier - however, it now seems that a completely new product, in a category new to its maker, will be unveiled alongside it.
This product is only shown in profile on Flipkart's new page, although it is pretty clear that it is that of a monitor. Therefore, it seems Realme is about to add external displays to its portfolio.
Currently, specs such as its size, viewing angles, resolution and potential for tilt or pivot are hard to guess at; then again, it is clear it will share a slim build with other devices such as its OEM's latest laptops and tablets.
However, it seems these details are just a few days away, as this first-gen monitor will apparently be "revealed" alongside the Watch 3, as well as a new pair of TWS earbuds that look like the Buds Air 3 Neo (which launched in China alongside the GT2 Master Explorer Edition) and a pair of wired earbuds, on July 18, 2022.
Saying that, Realme and Flipkart then immediately contradict those statements with one saying that the full "AIoT Launch" will take place on July 26, 2022. Therefore, it is possible that prices for all of these new devices will only be announced on that date, as a follow-up to several individual tantalizing spec-driven teasers. However, we may now have as many as 9 days to find out for sure.
