Realme Pad X arrives in India with a Snapdragon 695 SoC, 5G connectivity and a 10.95-inch display with keyboard and pen support
Realme has unveiled the Pad X in India with a Snapdragon 695 SoC, which will be compatible with the Realme Pencil and Smart Keyboard, priced at INR 5,499 (~US$69) and INR 4,999 (~US$63), respectively. While the Pad X debuted two months ago in China, India has received the tablet with a new 5G connectivity option. Unsurprisingly, Realme charges extra for 5G connectivity, which comes in all but one configuration.
Elsewhere, the Pad X remains unchanged from its original launch. Hence, the Pad X has a 10.95-inch WUXGA+ display operating at 2,000 x 1,200 pixels with 450 nits of peak brightness, an 84.6% screen-to-body ratio and DC dimming. Also, the tablet has an 8,340 mAh battery that supports 33 W fast charging and runs Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. Incidentally, the tablet features a 13 MP rear-facing camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera with a 105-degree field of view.
At launch, Realme will sell the Pad X in Glacier Blue and Glowing colourways. While Realme has not confirmed whether it plans to launch the Pad X globally, it has detailed prices and configurations in India. Specifically, the tablet starts at INR 19,999 (~US$251) with 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and Wi-Fi-only connectivity. Additionally, the same memory configuration will be orderable with a 5G modem for INR 25,999 (~US$326). Alternatively, the Realme Pad X will be available with 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and 5G connectivity for INR 27,999 (~US$351). Realme will start selling the Pad X on August 1 at 12:00 IST (06:30 UTC).
