Realme Watch 3 launches with a 1.8-inch display and Bluetooth calling
Realme has announced the Watch 3, a successor to the Watch 2 with a 1.8-inch display. According to Realme, the large display operates at 240 x 286 pixels with a 67.5% screen-to-body ratio and 500 nits of peak brightness. In comparison, the Watch 2 offers a 50% screen-to-body ratio but with a 600 nit and 320 x 320-pixel panel. As Realme's marketing images show, the Watch 3's also has curved edges that blend into its metallic frame.
Additionally, the Realme Watch 3 comes with over 100 watch faces and 110 sports modes pre-installed, plus heart rate and SpO2 sensors for monitoring various metrics. Also, the Watch 3 can determine stress levels and track your sleep, among other health-related features. For reference, the Watch 3 synchronises all health data with a paired smartphone via Realme's dedicated app.
Moreover, the Watch 3 supports Bluetooth calling directly from the smartwatch. Separately, Realme claims that the Watch 3 is IP68 certified against dust and water. Currently, the 45 x 37 x 11.5 mm and 54 g smartwatch sells for INR 2,999 (~US$38) in two colours. However, Realme will sell the smartwatch for INR 3,500 (~US$44) after August 2.
