AOC presents six V5 series monitors with 24-inch to 31.5-inch display sizes
AOC has introduced the V5 series, six monitors that feature 3-sided borderless bezels. According to AOC, all V5 series monitors also come with DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 connections, plus a 4-port USB 3.2 Type-A hub and a USB Type-C port that supports up to 65 W recharging via USB Power Delivery (PD). At launch, AOC offers the 24V5C, 24V5CE, 27V5C, 27V5CE, Q27V5C and Q32V5CE, which it distinguishes by display size, panel resolution and stand capabilities.
Specifically, 24V5C, 27V5C and Q27V5C come with stands that can be swivelled, tilted and rotated. Also, their stands are height adjustable by up to 130 mm. In comparison, the 24V5CE, 27V5CE and Q32V5CE's stands can only be titled. Separately, the 24V5C, 24V5CE, 27V5C and 27V5CE are all 1080p displays with IPS panels. By contrast, the Q27V5C and Q32V5CE operate at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.
Incidentally, all V5 series monitors support 75 Hz refresh rates. None of the monitors are ideal for gaming though, particularly with their 4 ms response times (GtG). Still, the monitors feature speakers and support AMD FreeSync, should you wish to occasionally game on the AOC V5 series. For reference, AOC states that the 24C5C and 24V5CE will draw up to 28 W, which increases to 30 W for the 27C5C and 27V5CE. Likewise, power consumption rises to 40 W for the Q27V5V and 50 W if you opt for the Q32V5CE. All V5 series monitors should be orderable this month for the following prices:
- 24V5C: £209.99/€269
