Corsair announces XENEON 32-inch gaming monitors with high refresh rates
Corsair has unveiled two new gaming monitors, both marketed under its XENEON series. Sold as the XENEON 32UHD144 and XENEON 32QHD240, the pair have 32-inch IPS panels with thin bezels, plus 100% AdobeRGB and sRGB colour space coverages. Additionally, Corsair has certified the XENEON 32UHD144 and XENEON 32QHD240 as VESA DisplayHDR 600 monitors, meaning that they should deliver at least 600 nits of peak brightness.
As their names suggest, the XENEON 32UHD144 has a 4K (3,840 x 2,160) native resolution paired with a 144 Hz refresh rate. By contrast, the XENEON 32QHD240 outputs at 2.5K (2,560 x 1,440) and 240 Hz. Accordingly, Corsair includes DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 ports, as well as a USB 3.1 hub and a USB Type-C port.
Separately, Corsair's bundled stand utilises a 100 mm x 100 mm VESA mount. Hence, you can easily use either the XENEON 32UHD144 or XENEON 32QHD240 with a third-party mount should you wish to do so. Incidentally, Corsair sells both monitors with and without a stand, although it has not confirmed pricing for the latter configuration. Currently, the XENEON 32UHD144 and XENEON 32QHD240 are orderable with a stand for £899.99 and £699.99, respectively.
