AOC Gaming U28G2XU2: 28-inch gaming monitor revealed with 4K, 144 Hz and VESA DisplayHDR 400 support
AOC has introduced another high-end gaming monitor, only a few weeks after announcing the PRO AG344UXM. This time, AOC has unveiled the Gaming U28G2XU2 with a 28-inch IPS panel that relies on WLED backlights. According to the company, the Gaming U28G2XU2 peaks at 370 nits with 1 ms MPRT response times and 178/178 viewing angles (CR10).
Additionally, the Gaming U28G2XU2 operates at 4K (3,840 x 2,160) with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 1,000:1 static contrast ratio. Moreover, the monitor supports Adaptive Sync, has two HDMI 2.1 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 connections, plus a USB 3.2 Gen 1 three-port hub. Furthermore, the Gaming U28G2XU2 offers 99% sRGB and 93% DCI-P3 colour space coverage, along with VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification.
For reference, AOC includes twin 3 W speakers, a 100x100 VESA mount and a stand that is height, pivot, swivel and tilt adjustable. So far, AOC has only confirmed that the Gaming U28G2XU2 will be available later this month for £689.99. The Gaming U28G2XU2 will be available in other markets too, including the Eurozone.
