It appears Sony has a busy week coming up as not only are new gaming headsets expected to be released by the Japanese company but also a couple of intriguing gaming monitors could be launched. Like the headphones, it seems the new displays will be part of Sony’s INZONE brand, and they will also apparently be “perfect for PlayStation 5” along similar lines to Sony Bravia XR televisions.
Freelance writer Tom Henderson has shared details of the Sony INZONE gaming monitors, and while no display sizes have been expressed, there are some exciting tidbits for PlayStation 5 owners to drool over. As mentioned above, one of the monitors offers 4K at 144 Hz support and the other supports Full HD at 240 Hz, and both devices can take on VRR duties for smooth frames while also delivering 1 ms gray-to-gray response times.
Henderson also details how Sony has considered HDR technology for the new INZONE monitors and mentions that “gaming assist features” will be part of the package. So, this means gamers can expect to be able to check out FPS rates and take advantage of a “black equalizer” for enhanced brightness in dark areas of games. No prices have been stated for the upcoming INZONE displays, but it shouldn’t be too long of a wait before Sony releases the full details.
