Sony INZONE H9, H7, and H3 gaming headsets leak promising enhanced PS5 play at an alleged cheaper price than the WH-1000XM5
The Sony INZONE H9, H7, and H3 gaming headsets have leaked, thanks to press renderings shared by @OnLeaks and 91Mobiles with @Zuby_Tech providing supposed prices for each model. It’s possible the new headsets are also part of a PS5 “Pro” accessory lineup, with the INZONE H-series offering an updated alternative to the PULSE 3D wireless headset. No release date has been leaked for the PC/PS5-compatible audio accessories yet, although there has been a suggestion of a somewhat vague "next week".
The Sony INZONE H3 is the entry-level unit, and it requires a wired connection. The headset features a black microphone, and, like the more-expensive options, it offers 360-degree spatial sound. The INZONE H3 gaming headset apparently costs a reasonable US$99. The INZONE H7 mid-tier set comes with a white microphone and can be used wirelessly. It is rumored to be priced at US$199 and could offer the best battery life out of the three.
Last but not least, there is the top-end Sony INZONE H9 that purportedly carries a price tag of US$299, which is cheaper than the WH-1000XM5 (US$399). For that money, you get a flashy gaming headset that features wireless connectivity, 360-degree spatial sound, noise cancelling, and a blue LED light on the white earcup that was inspired by the iconic PS5 design. Considering the information in these leaks, it is likely the Sony INZONE H-series gaming headsets will be available soon.
