Porsche Design has unveiled the PDH80, expanding upon the Soundbar PDB90 and AGON Pro PD32M that the company has presented this year. Incidentally, Huawei and Porsche Design collaborated again to release the Watch GT 3 Porsche Design. However, Huawei has decided against releasing the Watch GT 3 Porsche Design outside China for now.
Regardless, the Porsche Design PDH80 comes with 50 mm neodymium drivers, touch controls and a line-in cable jack for hi-res audio support. Unfortunately, Porsche Design has not provided any other details about the audio capabilities of the PDH80. Hence, it is unclear what Ohms at which the PDH80 operates, nor whether the headphones support high-resolution Bluetooth audio codecs. Porsche Design is keen to stress that the headphones should last up to 75 hours between charges, though.
Alternatively, the headphones are slated to last up to 50 hours with ANC enabled. Porsche Design adds that the headphones feature a microphone with echo cancellation too, as well as memory foam earcup pads, a leather-look outer headband and a foldable design. Currently, the Porsche Design PDH80 can be pre-ordered on the company's website for US$425, from where it will start shipping on July 15. Incidentally, the headphones are available in other markets, such as Europe and the UK, where they retail for €399 and £375, respectively.
