Evan Blass has shared render images of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, the long-awaited successors to the Galaxy Buds Pro. For reference, Blass posted a similar leak yesterday about the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro, discussed separately. As for the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Blass has shown the earbuds in three colours, pictured below.
It is worth stressing that these images are animated 3D renders, rather than marketing images or videos obtained from Samsung. Still, the design and colours shown should represent retail units, which are expected to arrive in late August. Currently, Samsung is rumoured to have scheduled a Galaxy Unpacked event for August 26, where it will also unveil the Galaxy Watch5, Galaxy Watch5 Pro, Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4.
Supposedly, Samsung will offer the Galaxy Buds2 Pro in Bora Purple, Graphite and White colour options, all with colour-matching charging cases and silicone ear tips. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy Buds2 Pro resemble its predecessor. However, Blass' renders show what could be new sensors, or grilles for microphone arrays. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen how much the Galaxy Buds2 Pro will cost. Initially, Samsung charged US$199.99 for the Galaxy Buds Pro, but third-party retailers are now selling them at over a 10% discount, including Amazon (affiliate link).
