Samsung continues to prepare its services for the arrival of new flagship hardware, albeit not quite behind closed doors. As we reported earlier this week, the company recently added the Galaxy Watch5 series to its support websites, a few days after Evan Blass shared renders of the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro. Incidentally, the same leaker shared similar renders for the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Samsung's next pair of premium earbuds.
Subsequently, members of the Samsung Community have noticed updated options within the Galaxy Wearable app. As has been the case before previous wearable releases, Samsung has decided to add the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Buds2 Pro ahead of schedule, likely as an Easter Egg for avid fans. Incidentally, Samsung pulled a similar move last month with an update to its Health app.
Ultimately, Samsung could be over a month away from unveiling either the Galaxy Watch5 series or the Galaxy Buds2 Pro. Reportedly, the company will announce both products at a Galaxy Unpacked event on August 26, joined by the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4. Separately, Samsung has confirmed plans to release One UI Watch 4.5, the presumed launch software for the Galaxy Watch5 series. While Samsung has not commented on the Buds2 Pro yet, Blass' leaked renders point towards minor design changes and a few new features.
