Redmi Buds 4 and 4 Pro allegedly leak onto Amazon UK by accident ahead of their official release
Redmi introduced a new generation of its Buds in 2022, with starting prices that top out at 369 yuan (~US$55) as they launched with "active noise reduction" rather than true ANC as in higher-end alternatives such as Xiaomi's newest flagship counterparts.
Then again, the spec is rated to go up to 43 decibels (dB) in the Buds 4 Pro, which also ditch the Buds 4s' modified-popcorn shape for an AirPod-clone look. Therefore, many Xiaomi fans might welcome their launch in markets closer to them - which may now be on the cards.
The blog Appuals claims to have spotted the fleeting, probably erroneous, appearance of the Redmi Buds 4 and 4 Pro on Amazon UK. Presuming the resulting screenshots are genuine, they will become available in all their original launch colors per variant, and will cost £50 (~$60) and £90 (~$107) in that market respectively.
On the other hand, there is now no sign of them on this website, and no indication of a launch thereon from Redmi or Xiaomi. Then again, the Buds 3 Lite and 3 Pro can be found on Amazon US for US$30 and $65 respectively.
