91mobiles and Ishan Agarwal have revealed details about the Redmi K50i, just under two weeks after Xiaomiui discovered an early MIUI build for the device. Expected to launch alongside the Redmi K50i Pro, 91mobiles and Agarwal suggest that Xiaomi is making little to no changes from the Redmi Note 11T Pro that it launched in May.
To recap, the Redmi Note 11T Pro has a 6.6-inch IPS display with a 2,460 x 1,080-pixel resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 powers the device, along with at least 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Meanwhile, a 5,080 mAh battery powers the Redmi Note 11T Pro, which it can recharge at 67 W.
Supposedly, Xiaomi only plans on bringing two memory configurations to India for the Redmi K50i 5G's release. Specifically, 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM will be offered, both with 128 GB of storage. In comparison, Xiaomi sells a 256 GB option in China. However, Xiaomi will re-purpose the black, blue and silver colour options from the Redmi Note 11T Pro with the Redmi K50i 5G.
Unfortunately, neither 91mobiles nor Agarwal has revealed how much the Redmi K50i will cost, nor when it will be available. For context, the POCO X4 GT series should debut globally on June 23. Hence, we imagine that Xiaomi will not take too long before it releases the Redmi K50i 5G in India.
