Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 leaks ahead of global launch
Xiaomiui claims to have discovered information about another Redmi Note 11 Pro series handset, nearly a year after original models launched in China. If the five versions of the Redmi Note 11 Pro that Xiaomi sells is not confusing enough, Xiaomiui asserts that Xiaomi is now preparing to release the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 globally. For reference, Xiaomi has released regional-specific versions of the Redmi Note 11 Pro, as well as an Indian edition of the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G.
As the screenshot below shows, Xiaomiui has discovered the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 on an IMEI with the model number 2209116AG. According to the website, 2209116AG is the longer version of 'K6A', while the 'G' suffix denotes that it is a global handset. Incidentally, the Redmi Note 10 Pro has the short number 'K6', which Xiaomiui deducing that 'K6A' is a refreshed version of 'K6'. Hence, the website reports that the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 is a re-badged Redmi Note 10 Pro, rather than taking after the various Redmi Note 11 Pro models that are already available.
While the IMEI listing does not reveal any specifications, Xiaomiui presumes that the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 borrows entirely from the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 732G chipset. Additionally, Xiaomi included a 108 MP primary camera and a 5,020 mAh battery that supported 33 W fast charging, among other features. We would not rule out Xiaomi making some changes though, such as a newer chipset. Based on the device's model number, 2209116AG, Xiaomi may launch the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 later this month. Unfortunately, full pricing and availability has not leaked yet, nor has the device's design.
