Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro European prices leak with specifications and press images
Roland Quandt and WinFuture have shared details about the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro, little over a week after a Peruvian retailer started selling the former, as we reported at the time. According to Quandt, Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi 12T series next week, although an exact release date remains unknown at this stage. Incidentally, Xiaomi has not begun teasing the Xiaomi 12T series on any social media channels yet, either.
Regardless, Quandt alleges that the Xiaomi 12T will start at €649, price matching the Xiaomi 11T Pro, not the Xiaomi 11T. For reference, the Xiaomi 11T launched for €549.90 with 128 GB of storage or €599.90 if you opted for the 256 GB edition. Worse still, Quandt claims that the Xiaomi 12T Pro will cost at least €849, putting a €200 gap between it and the Xiaomi 12T. Both models should arrive with 128 GB and 256 GB storage options, which Xiaomi will pair with 8 GB of RAM for the Xiaomi 12T and 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM for the Xiaomi 12T Pro.

Xiaomi 12T
As expected, the Xiaomi 12T Pro relies on the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, with the Xiaomi 12T settling for the Dimensity 8100 Ultra instead. Additionally, the pair feature different primary cameras but identical 8 MP ultra-wide-angle, 2 MP macro and 20 MP selfie cameras. Specifically, the Xiaomi 12T utilises a 108 MP sensor with an f/1.65 aperture. By contrast, the Xiaomi 12T Pro features a 200 MP sensor that offers an f/1.69 aperture. Potentially, the latter is the ISOCELL HP1, which debuted last month in the Moto X30 Pro.
Elsewhere, the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro are incredibly similar. Supposedly, both have 5,000 mAh batteries that support 120 W fast charging, as well as 6.67-inch AMOLED displays that output at 2,712 x 1,220 pixels with 120 Hz refresh rates. Also, Quandt reports that both will launch with MIUI 13 based on Android 12, rather than the newer Android 13. If Xiaomi is to release the Xiaomi 12T series next week, we imagine that the company will start teasing both smartphones within the next days or so.
