Xiaomi confirms October 4 launch event presumably for the Xiaomi 12T series, Redmi Pad, and Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro
After launching the Xiaomi 12S series in China back in July, Xiaomi is finally set for what may be its last major global launch event for the year. The company has now confirmed a launch date for next week, with a slew of devices expected to be unveiled then.
Earlier today on its official pages, Xiaomi confirmed its plans to hold a global launch event on October 4. The shared teaser image uses the caption "Make Moments Mega", which may hint at a camera-centric event. To give an educated guess, that likely alludes to the Xiaomi 12T Pro, which is expected to headline the event along with its 200 MP camera.
Details of the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro have leaked already, so that part of the launch should mostly be a formality. The premium phones will likely be joined by the Redmi Pad, Xiaomi's first Redmi-branded tablet which has also leaked in full. The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro could make an appearance as well, as the global version of the Xiaomi Band 7 Pro that launched alongside the Xiaomi 12S series in China in July.
