Xiaomi Redmi Buds 4 arrive with 30 hours of battery life and ANC for €59.99
Xiaomi has brought the Redmi Buds 4 to Europe, having already presented the earbuds in China. Unsurprisingly, the Redmi Buds 4 cost more in Europe than in China. Still, the earbuds are cheaper than the Redmi Buds 4 Pro, discussed separately.
At the heart of the Redmi Buds 4 are 10 mm dynamic drivers; unfortunately, Xiaomi has not provided any other details about these drivers yet. Separately, the earbuds offer up to 35 dB of Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation. For reference, Xiaomi claims to have obtained its noise cancellation data from the National Institute of Metrology, China.
Supposedly, the Redmi Buds 4 will last up to 6 hours between charges and will be capable of running for an hour after just five minutes of charging. Theoretically, the bundled charging case should deliver another four charge cycles before it needs topping up too, giving the Redmi Buds 4 up to 30 hours of battery life overall.
Incidentally, the earbuds come with IP54 certification against dust and water, which should mean that the earbuds are 'dust protected' and can withstand water splashes. The Redmi Buds 4 are available to order now for €59.99. At launch, the earbuds come in Light Blue and Gloss White colourways, each with a matching charging case.
