Xiaomi Redmi Note 11R: Pricing for unreleased but familiar-looking smartphone leaks

According to reports, Xiaomi is preparing to launch another member in the Redmi Note 11 series. Billed as the Redmi Note 11R, the smartphone appears to be a re-branded POCO smartphone, underlined by similarities between its specifications and those of the POCO M4 5G.

Xiaomi cannot stop adding to the Redmi Note 11 series. Not only has the company prepared the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023, but it has also prepared the Redmi Note 11R. Like the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023, the Redmi Note 11R is an already-released device marketed under a new name. While the Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 is thought to be a re-badged the Redmi Note 10 Pro, the Redmi Note 11R appears to be the POCO M4 5G in a different guise.

Listed on China Telecom's website, the Redmi Note 11R has a 6.58-inch and 1080p display that operates at 90 Hz with 500 nits of peak brightness. Additionally, the device possesses the MediaTek Dimensity 700, 128 GB of storage and a choice of 4 GB, 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. In other words, the Redmi Note 11R and POCO M4 5G share identical specifications. Hence, the Redmi Note 11R also has a 13 MP primary camera that Xiaomi complements with a 2 MP depth of field camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera.

It is worth noting that Xiaomi has not added the Redmi Note 11R to its Chinese website yet. Currently, searching for the device returns nothing, while attempting to direct Mi.com to the Redmi Note 11R yields an error. Still, China Telecom has listed the device for CNY 1,299 (~US$181). Presumably, Xiaomi will unveil the Redmi Note 11R within the next month or so at the latest.
