MagyarXiaomi Mijia Graphene folding electric heater revealed with voice commands
The new Xiaomi Mijia Graphene Folding Skirting Board Electric Heater Ultra-Thin Model will launch for pre-order in China on September 14. The 6 cm (~2.4-in) thick heater can be folded by up to 180°, collapsing to half its size to make it easier to store; the device is 0.75 m (~30-in) long when folded or 1.5 m (~59-in) when unfolded. You could also fold the panel at 90° to fit in a corner.
The device includes a 1.29 m (~50.8-in) long heating element, which uses graphene to heat your home faster. According to Xiaomi, the 2,200 W panel can heat your room by up to 5 °C (~9 °F) in 10 minutes. The company also suggests that the heating method is less likely to dry out your skin and is designed to maintain a constant temperature and avoid energy wastage. Safety features of the product include an overheating protection switch.
Using a built-in touchscreen, you can adjust the temperature from 16 to 28 °C (~61 to 82°F) and set a timer for up to 12 hours. Alternatively, you can control the foldable electric heater with Xiao AI voice commands or the Mijia App. From September 14, you can pre-order the Xiaomi Mijia Graphene Folding Skirting Board Electric Heater Ultra-Thin Model in China for 799 yuan (~US$115); the device is expected to retail for 899 yuan (~US$130) in the future.
