TCL has launched the Twin Cabin Q10 washing machine and dryer in China. The dual-function device has a 16 kg (~35 lbs) or 42 L capacity across the stacked drums, meaning you can simultaneously wash eight sets of school uniform or 40 items of baby clothing. Plus, you can dry loads up to 7 kg (~15.4 lbs).
Smart features of the device include AI intelligent detergent dispensing, based on your washing load, and an ion air quick washing cycle, which can deodorize clothes in 35 minutes. The machine is powered by a double direct drive motor that can run as quietly as 45 dB. According to TCL, the washing machine has a 99.99% sterilization rate with UVC light technology. The lower drum has a 360 mm (~14.2-in) opening, while the upper drum has a 510 mm (~20.1-in) aperture and a 1.3 m (~4.3 ft) operating height.
Overall, the Twin Cabin Q10 measures 1,600 x 600 x 630 mm (~70.0 x 23.6 x 24.8-in). The door of the higher machine has touchscreen controls for the whole device. Alternatively, you can control the washing or drying via an accompanying smartphone app. You can currently pre-order the TCL Twin Cabin Q10 Duplex Partition Washing Machine in China for 6,999 yuan (~US$983) with a 100 yuan (~US$14) discount.
