The Xiaomi Mijia Refrigerator Cross Door 430L is now available to pre-order in China. The product has 17 compartments, 266 L fridge capacity and 154 L freezer capacity. There is a further 10 L of storage in the upper section, in which you can vary the temperature separately from the rest of the fridge. You can also adjust the humidity in one of the lower drawers, altering the environment to keep wet or dry ingredients fresher for longer.
Xiaomi has used 99.99% antibacterial silver ion material in the refrigerator for improved hygiene, and the device can run as quietly as 36 dB. You can set the overall temperature of the fridge to between 2 and 8 °C (~36 to 46 °F) and the freezer between -16 and -24 °C (~3 to 11 °F). You can control the device with a built-in LED touch panel, toggling between three modes: Smart, Quick Cool and Quick Freeze. Alternatively, you can use the Mijia app or Xiao AI voice commands to adjust the device's settings.
The double doored refrigerator measures 794 x 1,800 x 688 mm (~31.3 x 70.9 x 27.1-in). The product is rated as having first-class efficiency, consuming around 0.85 kWh per day. You can currently pre-order the Xiaomi Mijia Refrigerator Cross Door 430L in China for 2,199 yuan (~US$314) with a 100 yuan (~US$14) deposit. After this pre-sale period, the device is expected to retail for 2,399 yuan (~US$342).
