The Xiaomi Smart TV X is a cheaper 4K model revealed by the brand. With a slim bezel, the device has a 96.9% screen-to-body ratio and is available in three sizes: 43-in, 50-in and 55-in. Each TV has an Ultra HD 4K display with a 60 Hz refresh rate, a 3,840 x 2,160 px resolution and support for Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR10. Plus, the screen has a wide color gamut, covering 94% of the DCI-P3 range.
Vivid Picture Engine and MEMC technology are also built into the TV for accurate colors and a smoother image. An integrated 30 W sound system includes two speakers and an amplifier; audio technologies supported include Dolby Audio, DTS-HD and DTS Virtual:X. You can connect to the TV via a range of ports on the device, such as HDMI eARC and USB-A, or Bluetooth 5.0 or dual-band Wi-fi; this enables you to use Miracast with the device.
The TV's interface is based on Android 10, allowing you to use Google Assistant voice commands, Google Chromecast and Google Play Store with the device. The Xiaomi Smart TV X will launch in India on September 14. The 43-in model costs 28,999 INR (~US$364), the 50-in retails for 34,999 INR (~US$440), and the 55-in model costs 39,999 INR (~US$503). It is unknown whether or when Xiaomi will release the TVs in other markets.
